Please ensure that you have read the Driver Operations Manual before you go online for the first time. This sets out the way that we operate and contains some essential information to help us all get the maximum benefit from our working relationship.

Terago is a premium private hire service and not a ride-hailing app. We operate very differently to Uber/Bolt and have a very different relationship with both our drivers and our customers:

We are pleased to offer you a great deal of autonomy to choose where and when you work, what type of trips you wish to be offered and what payment methods you accept:

By default you will be enabled for all trips and all payment methods, however you can view our business channels and make changes to these by visiting the Business Channels page

From the driver app you can set ‘Destination Mode’ an unlimited number of times each day and also limit your work to local trips only.

With this in mind we expect you to accept all trips when you are online, and only go online if you ready to accept trips.

You can view and request pre-booked trips from the driver app without going online – simply select ‘pre-bookings’ from the top right hand menu.

Important Info about App and Online Bookings Payments

We pre-authorise the fixed fare quoted to the Customer’s card and charge only once the journey is completed.

We are able to add additional charges for vias, change of destination and waiting time however you should call Operations on 02038657072 so that the booking can be edited to reflect these before clearing the booking on your driver app.

At the end of the journey you will be presented with the ‘Fare’ screen shown. You should not edit the amount shown or fill in the other fields. This does not function correctly if edited and will probably result in an underpayment for you:

If there are no amendments to the trip simply swipe to authorise the fixed fare payment. If there are any changes or extras to be added then call us on 02038657072 before swiping authorise

Airports – Know before you go!

We offer our customers a fixed-price fully inclusive airport service:

Airport drop-off charges are included in the payment you receive.

For Airport Collections we provide a meet and greet service:

You are required to be in the terminal 20 minutes after landing (5 minutes after landing for domestic flights or where the customer has specified that they have no check-in bags).

You should position yourself in the arrivals hall with the Passengers name written on your Terago airport board. A further 40 minutes of waiting time and 1 hour of car parking is included in the payment you receive.

We work very hard 24/7 to win new business, retain customers and grow our booking numbers.

There is much that you can do to promote Terago, which ultimately will be to your benefit. We have a range of promotional materials available including business cards, and we will regularly communicate with you regarding any discounts or offers that we are running. Any promotional fares are always fully funded by us, and you will never be asked to complete a trip at a discount

Our Drivers are the front-line of customer interaction and there is much you can do to promote our service. You are our biggest asset.

Working with AFC

There are some additional requirements for working with AFC. There is no additional training required however you will need to be vetted over a short video call once we have submitted your application. Here are some links to AFC Documentation:
